My first bike ride with the Malaysia’s tourism minister and 300 other cyclists at my mother’s hometown. Had so many firsts on that day alone. I got called by the Minister just to be interviewed by her and the press. The minister was admired by my helmet. Kinda amusing at how much attention my helmet got. It was the only kind of helmet at the event. Am still shocked at the occasion of being called by the minister that day till now..hahaha. Sweet memories.

This is a side view. Bought my first full face helmet to wear for riding my bicycle. Yes it is full face unlike the common ones that covers less than half of a person’s head with groovy designs. Been searching for a helmet that is worth the safety-ness and money. This one was sold a display unit of a bike shop. I asked for different size and color, the sales said this is the only ones they have. So i had no other choice but to get it. With ten percent discount, i was like smiling. Means that i have extra money to get me a pair of gloves.

From magazine to my hands

Finally after seeing the brand from a magazine i saw during my high school days, now i got to ride on one of them. Mongoose Tyax comp. Its not a very known brand here in Malaysia but to me it is a legendary brand. Managed to get it at a very, very awesome deal with the shopowner, i think its gonna be a worthwhile investment. Seeing from all the reviews about it, all are pretty good. Im satisfied. Will need to save more cash to get myself a very good helmet and other accessories. For now I just ride to practice at the field near my house first…
