Today is the day, a big festive day!
It is the day all Muslims around the world to celebrate a festive celebration, the Eid-ul Mubarak. It marks the end of the month of Ramadhan and its the first day of Syawal according to the Islamic calendar. Friend and family gather and attend to open houses full with food and entertainment. Meeting old family members, cousins, aunts, uncles, and distant family members, asking forgiveness and pay respects to the deceased family members at the Muslim cemetery.
But most of the lively activities happens during Eid is the food. So much food to be eaten after a month of fasting. All that emptied space of our stomach, this is the right time to fill it in. Its like to fill the balance of goodness and not-so goodness of life…hahaha.
Anyways, I would like to use this opportunity to wish all the Muslims out there, around the world a happy Eid-ul Mubarak, and to all the Malaysians happy holidays, happy 54th independence day, and last but not least, Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri!!!!~
