One fine day after a year of rejecting an offer to play along with some new people, my ex-team leader from my first job managed to persuade me to get into paintballing. Its an extreme sport i must say. It is something i cant mention out loud to some people otherwise i might get grounded.  haha.

So anyway, paintball have two major formats. A speedball and woodsball. I was introduced to woodsball for my first game that was a privilege to begin with. As we all know paintball is a game that involves shooting by using life like guns, instead of using bullets, we used miniature ball filled with paint. So a woodsball type of game means that we play in a jungle, like a real warzone. All camouflaged and hiding and green. But a speedball is very arcade like, very athletic and fast. Speedball could last not more than five minutes and game over.

Woodsball however could last up to five hours or more. Because one player might have an advantage of good hiding spot and takes time to be found and get shot. To pay for a game that last that long is pretty worth it. So i thought this could be a worthwhile hobby.

A real stress reliever or maybe not. If get shot, the worst you could get is a bruise at the end of the day. Felt gooood….

First Sony after 14 years

Got a pair of these recently. The Sony Extra Bass MDR-XB920. Have been researching for this for quite some time. My last one was a Philips headphone it was broken after 5 months of owning it, so i had to look for a replacement. Before i purchased the above, i did some comparison by searching and tested other brands like the Beats by dr dre, especially the model range Beats Executive. The sound quality was great but lacks the bass. Im a very bass-y kinda guy, the tremble in the ear makes me feel like a giant robot with Jedi powers, hahaha! Its kinda cool when the sales person lets customer use their smartphones with music to test the headphones, it makes its easier to decide which is good and less good.  Beats Executive is pretty pricey for budget and the design is just too….executive. It came with black only. Its a yes for sound but no for styling. I came back to Sony and do the test again, and i finally decided to get it. I really had to get it coz i cant go out without music. I hate earphones coz its hurting the earlobes, but i have a pair of those only for cycling purposes. Headphones are the real fashion statement for those with free lifestyles, urban, and loud music lover individual. It stands out and speaks your uniqueness on expressing your love for music. Traditional headphones (the one that is wired/corded) are still more useful and lasting compared to the high tech wireless headphones. You dont have to worry about charging and connecting and getting a pair of batteries for noise cancellation features. Be it the 21st century and younger generations bragging about wireless this and wireless that, corded headphones still rocks.

It has been awhile. Yes.

New job, new life. All within a year. There were sunnies and cloudies and everything in between. I have done a lot of cycling lately. Mostly not for the sake of fitness but for the sake of adventure. My adventurous and explorer self began to take shape at this age. Nearly 30, many people at this age in most Asian countries already gone married with 3 to 4 kids and have older facial complexion. They disregard good health and keep in shape. So that is why I decided to be different from the rest of my peers. I remember a famous local fashion designer once told me that “time is never on our side, so why do we have to make time”. Just do the job and finish it. Deadlines are never 100% met unless we have a perfect crew to execute it on time. Time! Is an enemy that is real.

Enjoy life while we can.

Post Haze Day

This was taken a week after the intense hazy weather that hit the entire South East Asia. The seriousness of the haze, the tree plant in front of the camera was not visible at all. Air quality was almost like breathing toxic gas fumes. It was caused by an annual open burning of a forest in Sumatra, Indonesia. The smoke was clearly visible from a satellite view. The worst hit country was Singapore, and the wind carried it up north to Malaysia and Phillipines. So grateful to the hardwork of the govt,  they manage to consult the Indonesian govt to stop the burning immediately and solve the problem so it wont be another open burning in the following year and the future. The impact was just too great. Too many ppl got sick and asthmatic cases rose to unacceptable level.

That tall tower is one of the latest serviced residences/apartment condo near the Kuala Lumpur city centre (KLCC). It is called The Zon. Actually it comprises of three different sections. There are SOHOs, residence and mini theme park.

This photo (yes its a photo) was taken with a smartphone Samsung Galaxy S2. It is retouched a lil bit but the real photo has almost the same effects as this. I shared with some friends and they all thought its a drawing and some even thought is a piece made from autocad. I was amazed of the feedback. The truth is that this was taken some time during sunset, 530pm to be exact. So the angle of the sun sort of reflected off the building and when I saw it, it looked photo perfect. Sadly i dont have my dslr with me at the time. Have to make do with the smartphone, amd the plus side of the simple retouching apps in the phone.

Im very proud of this photo.

BMW S 1000 RR Z800

The two bikes that i dreamed to have.  These two are the latest in 2013.  Since i can’t afford for a real BMW car, so why not a bike.  hahaha

I’m planning this by phase, right now i own a bicycle.  Its the best way to start to learn how to ride a two wheel vehicle by bicycling before you start riding a two wheeler with a huge motor, right?

Well these are two in my list so far, i have another list for enduro, and touring.  That can wait for later.
