One fine day after a year of rejecting an offer to play along with some new people, my ex-team leader from my first job managed to persuade me to get into paintballing. Its an extreme sport i must say. It is something i cant mention out loud to some people otherwise i might get grounded. haha.
So anyway, paintball have two major formats. A speedball and woodsball. I was introduced to woodsball for my first game that was a privilege to begin with. As we all know paintball is a game that involves shooting by using life like guns, instead of using bullets, we used miniature ball filled with paint. So a woodsball type of game means that we play in a jungle, like a real warzone. All camouflaged and hiding and green. But a speedball is very arcade like, very athletic and fast. Speedball could last not more than five minutes and game over.
Woodsball however could last up to five hours or more. Because one player might have an advantage of good hiding spot and takes time to be found and get shot. To pay for a game that last that long is pretty worth it. So i thought this could be a worthwhile hobby.
A real stress reliever or maybe not. If get shot, the worst you could get is a bruise at the end of the day. Felt gooood….
